Got nothing to do; went to Makro and asked grandkids to accompany.....still in bed the blighters!

Instead of following such depressing & controversial news, why not follow us on the 'africanbettingclan' (google) site and make money?

All of the info there is free; I made over R10g yesterday!

Just shows people's attitude towards horseracing; they come onto this site (which is a forum for discussion...), but, because horseracing is mentioned.....it's gambling!

Where are our spin doctors to re-shape the general public's perception of horseracing? At the last count of 48x thumbs down to 1x thumbs up....very makhulu concern for the industry!

I may be shot down but as much as I enjoy Racing I do have a personal conflict in getting people to punt, call it a conscience if you will. On the one hand I do know how to get people interested but on the other I would hate to be the person that caused harm to a family or individual because I taught someone how to punt. I have always thought that if you have an enemy the easiest way to defeat him is to teach him to punt/drink or womanize.<

I feel the same way. I have many friends that dont punt. When they ask me abt horseracing i always tell them not to get involved.

I,ve seen punting put good men down . So to punting (td)

I also don't encourage anyone to punt (and not because of religious constraints)! Sorry!

Punting is great if u are winning but can be a dark place when the wheels come off

For me racing is a social activity. Went to my local yesterday. Shouted home about 5 winners, made a few grand. It was a good day. On a bad day i would lose a grand or so but still have some fun with the guys. The forum is also about fun and banter...it does not promote punting.
