21-04-13 Team G Racing Syndicate filly Meet Me Halfway gets her first start at Flamingo Park (pictured) in Kimberley tomorrow at 16h00 in the 8th race. She goes into a FM74 Handicap with just 50½kgs to shoulder under apprentice claimer Collen Thabana and will jump from gate 9 (out of 12). She is now trained by Coerie Lenslie who reports that she has taken to the Flamingo Park sand surface in a big way, putting in superb work with a win being expected.

Maybe worth mentioning CL has had 1 winner in last 100 runs and 3 in last 200. Not saying she won't win but I would be more optimistic if GVZ had said it.
