Authorities please explain?

How is it possible that a unraced 1st timer has got into the SA NURSERY (grade1)for 2year olds,with prize money for 1000 000 rand.The mind baffles what other owners must think when their horses struggle to get into a minor novice/maiden plate,after a few attempts,can somebody please explain?Is this fair.

Well Kings Temptress won the filly's feature making her debut. A couple of first timers in recent times have won minor features. If its eligible to run, why not.

Not sure, remember Kavanagh won the Nursery when making his debut

That is not what Zoro asked. Who won it as a maiden unraced or not.

I guess they were willing to pay the Nom fee for the Nursery.

i would prefer to see the rules changed............ in my opinion UNRACED horses should NOT be eligible.

in fact, perhaps horses who at least have placed in the 1st 4 previously should get in BEFORE an unraced horse.

we are talking about a sh!t load of money in GR1 & GR 2 races............ there must be minimum standards set to get into these races, NOT UNRACED HORSES.

amenee started fav in her Grade 2 debut and run unplaced , but won a grade 1 later before exported

Obvious explanation, there isn't a full field. A maiden that had finished unplaced ten times could have got in too.
