Trainer Leon Erasmus
12 years 1 month ago
He has 49 runners carded for the next week. Thats more tham some trainers have in three months.
What is amazing the number of 2 year olds he has.
Good on him once again horses are running for the owners not just keeping the stables occupied.

Yeah,
Maybe just trying to run em off the virus,
I'm not sure if I heard properly yesterday during one of the previews,
Julie said that erasmus says he's just trying to come of a virus in the stable therefore he cudnt give any confidence on his runners yesterday.

Indeed - taking advantage of an unfair (imo) system - as I understand it because he is a private trainer he gets R600 (per horse) subsidy to transport his runners - so he has many runners at the Vaal (close to home)

Frodo he break no rules he don't make and for me very important he's horse don't stand in stable they run even if race is used as preparation. Many bullshitter trainers can learn from this

I never said he breaks the rules - I say he's taking advantage of them (and nothing wrong with that) (tu)

Leon Erasmus and Tobie Spies value for money trainers indeed . They do not sit around and wasting time by living of stable fees like a lot of trainers does , they believe like the old champ Buddy Maroun that a horse need to be racing fit and not just doing his best work on training track. For any owners they give you a chance to see your horse run.Well done .
Have you notice that L Erasmus and Spies keep their horses much sounder than most other trainers, respect (tu)
