I have never ever followed the "stable" jockey - I look at the horse first( Festival Of Fire a perfect example - last two starts Delpech did not ride and was trounced) He gets Hatt, Knesius, Strydom, David , Shea etc to win. I never ever listen to the story that Delpech or whoever took the ride ahead of the stable's better form horse!!

Delpech was TOLD what he was to ride, surely there is lack of confidence in him as you have pointed out other jockeys getting the plum rides??

You would never see this with Hannon and Hughes...??
