calling all the gold circle spin doctors

please explain how greyville was abandoned after the pen being 20 in the morning of the raceday then getting 15mm of rain from 15.30 but clwd gets 53mm of rain in the last 24 hours has a pen of 30 and they can race today?

and a jock wont contradict his trainer will he?

Most at the track couldnt believe it was called off!!!!!

Surely with the revenue lost because of cancelled meetings they would move the tote board then Titch, seems a a logical way to sort things out??

I'm concerned as the the way the course is laid/layered....sand clay soil loam grass etc....
Can it take the punishment?
If I look at the poor way the sports/rugby/football fields in RSA are just fixed with a grass sod for eye appeasement....
too many short term solutions....take the bucks and run....

hibs since abc was formed there must have been 20 or so issues that we were told there would be an inquiry investigation etc and nothing ever is heard again of these matters....maybe we can have someone list them ...and the outcomes

im known to be blind and deaf but anton marcus made no mention of the pull up area in his comments regarding the track after the 2nd and the panel was inspecting the track on the turn befo re the entrance to the straight...also the sun dont shine at night the last time i looked but coming to think about it some people in natal believe the sun shines out of their backsides

If the "tote board" explanation constitutes "positivity" in racing I will remain realistic and sensible thanks!...........lol

Todays PA pool in PE bigger than Cwd............interested to hear the GC positive take on that :S

Do you mean the trainer and jock with an odds on shot to come who thought the going wouldn't suit them? Look, either it was dangerous or it wasn't. Once the idea that it's dangerous has been suggested, it is very hard to carry on because if something happened then...... And once Anton called it dangerous, how can other jocks, or people who don't have to ride, contradict him? I think once he called it dangerous the events which followed became inevitable and we have to take him at his word unless we don't believe him.
