The problem with this type of thread is that it is taken personally and the title certainly does not help, Lez has accepted that. Maybe you could change it?

But overall, it is not really "personal". To me, and I have worryingly agreed with him a lot in the last couple of months :S < Rob has it absolutely on the button. It is all about getting the right people in the right position. I am sure Mr Bonn is a very nice guy and decent company but that does not mean he is the world's best post horse race interviewer... or pre-race "tipster" for that matter. I have no issue with him presenting. But he should leave the tipping aside, yes we can ignore him but 1 it can be irritating and 2 uses up time when Gav could be speaking sense. I am sure he would be the first to admit he is no great tipster so why do it? Please Andrew just focus on asking Gav the right questions and let him be the one to live and die by the sword. As for post-race, I tend to understand where Lez is coming from, there is nearly always a little chums jesting to start off an interview... no problem with that Andrew, its fair enough but then please move on and ask the right questions however difficult it may be... ask why that trainer or jock's horse just won the last race by 5 lengths at 40/1 while his 8/11 fav in the previous race could only manage 4th. You know what I mean. I wonder if that happened if post-race interviews would continue though..?

There is a BIG difference between presenters and tipsters.
Bonn is a presenter. Gavin is a tipster.
Tipsters , I have an ear to ......and presenters ZULCH.

Punters especially those in the totes want selections from people that they can trust and Gavin is one of those.
Unfortunately, in PE, the presenter keeps going on about breeding and wastes precious time with the actual selections.

Anyway , Hibs is right. This thread is not about tipping.
