Re: Brown Nosers

I have watched many horse racing interviews in my time. Singapore,uk,usa, dubai etc. However i have never seen two so called racing journalists namely Nico Kitsiotis and Andrew Bonn kiss ass while interviewing a trainer or owner.they are the two biggest brown nosers on tele ... What do u guys think? Which one is the deeper digger?

None of the two of them are Journalists , both love racing , if that makes them appear like brown nosers as you put it, then so be it .

The reason these two get under my skin is that they are always doing post race interviews,race commetary, hosting special shows etc etc but they never appear to be critical of any trainer/owner /racing authority all they do is suck up and thats why i call them brown nosers. The worse part is that we as punters are forced to watcg them bec we onlx have ch 239 to watch. We need objective reporting and different points of views on ch239. I mean Nico k is the tellytracl exec and Andrew bonn is the only freelance journo in sa...so it appears. And if they love the game so much they should give others some airtim,they should love the game cos they earning good money while dishing out drivel.

Nico gets very very excited when an Oppenheimers horse wins or if he knows the owners. He is quite passionate though which is good for the game, perhaps over passionate with certain owners. Andrew Bon is very knowledgable but i feel is not being used to full potential by TT.

I tend to agree with Lez.

Bonn will do well working for a breeder.

Bon does work for us via our YouTube channel, it's his job to get excited about racing

IMO both good for racing and Bonskis docs are world class.

Yes, but he should stick to that, not tipping in PE....

but for me these guys are top class and don't deserve the labels given above

I just wish racing would use the strengths of people where they lie..........

Bonn( the intellectual comic) trying to upstage Gavin ????
and a few others..........too much Jack of all trades IMO.

I think they let some of these guys down by not utilising their better attributes more wisely!

I agree i am sure LEZ would not like to be labelled in his private capacity ,by someone who has an opinion against him (td) ....
