Golf,week commencing 23rd May

This week the PGA Tour is in Texas again for The Crowne Plaza Invitational played at The Colonial Country Club.
This track has narrow fairways and a few dog-legs,it sets up to favour good,accurate ball strikers.
1.Henrick Stenson,tops stats in fairways hit and greens in regulation. 33/1

2.Matt Kuchar,very good course form 25/1

3.John Huh,2012 rookie of the year is a good ball striker.Finished 5th here last year 50/1

4.Harris English,another good ball striker who at 23 is the youngest I've mentioned.But with such a great name I'm on small ew 45/1

I will also punt Jim Furyk in 3 balls,course is ideal for him but age is creeping up and not sure he can win over 4 days..

I will receive news about injuries tomorrow and structure my match bets accordingly.
Didnt know Louis Oosthuizen was suffering from a bad neck last week and having treatment,I won't miss the injury news again.it all helps.

I'm looking at pga champs tomorrow..

And remember,never wear high heels on a putting green or say "Get in the Hole"

Wind is going to play a part at Wentworth this week,especially on Friday
I'm all in on Paul Lawrie at 10/11 with Ladbrokes to beat Niclas Colsaerts,Lawrie has 2 top tens in the last 3 years.
Colsaerts has 2 missed cuts and best placed 35th in the last 5 years.
Lawrie will relish the bad weather which will lead to a lot of scrambling around the greens,he is one of the best par savers on the tour.
Colsaerts is a big hitter and I can see him in trouble from the tee box.

1st round match-ups at Wentworth
Ross Fisher to beat George Cotzee. Fisher grew up at Wentworth.Cotzee out of form...10/11 Stan James
Thonchai Jaidee to beat Stephen Gallacher,TJ has made the cut 9 times and SG struggles on this course.Stan James and Betvictor..

John Peterson plays in the American event.
He's grandfather was a member at Collonial for more than 50 years,JP learnt how to play on this course.
He reckons he has played the course between 400 and 500 times,that must be an advantage.
He may not be good enough to win but he is 5/1 for a top 20 finish and 16/1 for a top 10 finish..
I've played both small
200/1 for the tournament

Between Dave and Hollywood they have pretty much covered my bet.

Dave i am also on Lawrie to demolish Colsaerts. He is out early this morning and pairing with his mates mclroy and mcdowell he will want to keep pace and should put in a sterling start. Hollywood and SB have not priced up the outright winners yet so i have not managed to get a bet on as yet.

1 other bet i will take with Hollywood is Grace to finish in the top 6. Just missed out to McDowell last week and was pretty good tee to green.

Todays bet is the double Grace to beat Sterne and Lawrie to beat Siem. With Hollywood returns just short of 3-1.

Coetzee and Els are right up there in the PGA

Europe I fancy Jiminez, Garcia and Mollinari

It was a nightmare last day for me
Also backed John Huh for a top ten finish,he came 11th
