Wouldn't surprised me if Tommy Gun was carded to run at Flamingo Park in the near future...

Here are my fancies:
Race 1: I like Royal roy but really only because of a lack of quality raced horses. The joker could be the de kock colt. His sire is also sire of Animal kingdom who has won over Synthetic, grass and dirt. His fav surface does seem to be syntehtic/tapeta but he is effective on grass. nothing else makes any type of impression for me.
Race 2: AF should win on class but the Govender yard form is a worry. I would include Fortress Mine. She is improving and won her maiden over this C&D. Kotzen yard in KZN in much better form than their CTN counterparts.lightning Lulu from that draw should be included.
Race 3: Wind Trip is the right one for me, despite a big weight and being a 3 year old. Dangers would be Grasp your destiny although I would have liked him more had Tribal Dance run better in the 1900. Still cannot be ignored. Rocco's luck has it all to do from that draw. Don't leave out Strydoms mount. He could be the big improver.
Race 4: This race is a nightmare. Take your pick. I like Craigs horse, Threshold. He ran 6 lengths off Barbosa at level weights and that one will be running in the Golden Horse later. Should have a decent place chance with only 48kg's on his back. Anything you fancy throw it in.
Race 5: My Sanctuary, nothing else. She is very good and holds most of this field, apart from that crazy Kings stakes race which, I'm willing to throw the form out as I don't fancy War Path at all.
Race 6: Very open. willow Magic is the undoubted class but this is going to be tough for him. I like a few here including Bah. I liked the way he put his field to bed last time. If you like him you have to like Hillbrow, however I think Bah would have improved exponentially since his debut run. Normanz must have a chance but I'm just not sure about his last win....form of that race has been pretty tragic.
Race 7: I like the de Kock coupling. I fancy Festival of Fire as I think she is all class. Having said that I believe that if Via Afrika stays, she will win. She is weighted to win. I'm just a little concerned about the course and especially the distance.
Race 8: I fancy Royal Zulu Warrior. He is very good and this race holds no super stars. If he doesn't win perhaps Snowdon on his 2nd in last years race. I have always said that 6 furlongs is his best trip. The only outsider I'm a little worried about it Desert Sheik. He is a sprinter plain and simple. He got very close to Snowdon last time while needing it I'm sure. If he comes on from that run he is going to be a big runner. Problem is 2nd run after a layoff for me.
Race 9: I fancy a bit of Devon Gold here, especially after tipping Threshold earlier. Let us see how the latter runs first. The race beyond that is very open. Island Fiesta must have a chance and so must The Good's horse. Victory Cruise is drawn on the wrong side unfortunately but he has to be concerned too if the track is not too biased.
Happy punting!

its important to note that scotsville sprint is almost entirely up-hill thus 1000m horses suffer (Franny last year) , it favours low draws(Princess Victoria Last year).

Ok - i must be getting good if the great Tommy Hotspur is on my thinking.
Not playing race 1 and on ew in the next 4
Fortress mIne
Atamasco
Threshold
My Sanctuary
Will look at the next few races as the day progresses. I expect Welwichita to beat Via Africa..
