KZN Yearling Sale is producing the champions...!

KZN GRADS SHINES IN MAJOR FEATURES
There have been a number of top-class graduates to have emerged from the 2012 KZN Yearling Sale. This group of horses includes an Award winning filly, a talented Gr2 hero as well as an unbeaten Gr1 winning sensation.

Virgo’s Babe (Malhub - Linzertorte) is one of the fairy stories of the year. This filly, recently named the RA’s Champion 2yo filly, was bred by Midlands Thoroughbreds, and was an impressive winner of the Gr2 SA Fillies Nursery on Champions Day.
Well done to owners, Mr & Mrs Foster and Mr Pandaram, who have a lovely filly on their hands.

Happy Valentine (Silvano – Happy Ever After) was just the second lot to go through the sales ring at the KZN Sale last year. This Maine Chance Farm bred filly, purchased by Messrs Chemaly and O’Brien for R240 000, is unbeaten in two starts and looked something very special when winning last Saturday’s Gr1 Allan Robertson Championship.

Backworth Stud bred the unbeaten Colour Of Courage, who gave his sire Judpot his first feature race winner when he won the Gr2 Umkhomazi Stakes. Owned by Messrs Nairac, Maingard and Baroness Bergsma of Longford, Colour of Courage was a R140 000 at the 2012 KZN Sale.

The 2013 KZN Sale will take place at the Suncoast Casino on the 4th and 5th of July. It is not a sale to miss!

Yes you will. She will be running in the Golden Slipper on July day, then rested until her prep for the Cape Fillies Guineas.....then she will move to France.
