Final field July ? and weights ?

Question to the experts , particularly Pirates , Rob Faux , Frodo , Enlander , Flash Harry , Hibs , Muhtiman and others I maybe didnt mention .

Who do you think will make final field and what weight will they probably carry very important ?

Help will be appreciated to have a view from different angles

I think at this stage it's still anyone's guess and a a lot still depends on whether horses like CTN, COTT, Vercingetorix and even Rock Cocktail and Yorker are going to take part and also what ratings they are given - for example, I see that on the NHA's site, Rock Cocktail is still shown as a 90, which is obviously too low - so I'm sitting on the fence :

So basically we farked at this stage out of a punter's point of view and prices ridiculous for July :S

As opposed to last year horses that are running in the KZN Derby and Oaks have a chance to increase their say in the July line up as the field will be announced during the week after these races. The Winter Classic (postponed) and Winter Derby also take place before the final field is declared. King of Pain and True Master could contest these races. An interesting runner here is Readytogorightnow. Could he be supplemented if he wins all three legs of the Winter Series (Owned by Jooste, Adams, Kantor and co.). Then this weekend is the Jubilee Handicap at Turffontein were numerous nominated horses for the July will run. Also the Cup Trail at Clairwood this weekend also will play a part. Interesting weeks ahead.

I guess I fit into the "others" category but that's OK ()

Knock On Wood
Punta Arenas;
Shogunnar;
White Line Fever; but including

Seal;

Thunder Dance; and
True Master

For weights just do the sums with the constraints

Rock Cocktail is now a 105 Frodo, Vercingetorix 108,CTN a 107 , COTT a 112 and Yorker remains a 102

?......to be brutaly honest.....do not have a clue......the selectors will have their work cut out over the next week......and there is going to be some disappointments ......also be interesting how they view the Daily News result.....the trick is not to win it but get in on it......they may lump poor Wylie unfairly but he deserves a place
