Mr H, we all have our opinions and you are entitled to yours
Yes, RFI last won in 2010, and yes CTN beat him earlier - but that was over 1400 receiving 4.5 kg's - in the July it looks they may run off more or less the same weight? Also after CNT beat him, RFI ran just more than a length behind Beach Beauty over 1800, and then granted ran an 'average' race in the Queens Plate (a shd behind Master Plan) and poorly in the Met (not his form imo)
Then after being gelded (and 'needing the run badly' according to the stable), he finished 3.5 lengths behind Beach Beauty over 1400 - and imo that was a good enough comeback to ensure a good run in the July - IF he gets in by winning on the weekend (and if he can't win on the weekend then he won't even run in the July - and you would of course be proven correct) (tu)
And if both CTN and RFI run in the July, I think RFI will beat CTN

Whiteline Fever's best distances are up to a mile or 1 1/8 miles max. In fact I think he is most effective over 1400m.
I think Pomodoro has to have a chance, if not him, then who????

WLF could have gone very close last year is my opinion but for the interference in the last 150 m if he carries a lighter weight than Pomodoro he must have a god chance again

you'll have to go back a good few years to find a july winner carrying 60kg

Didn't that Argentinian horse of Woodruff win with 60kg's? El Picha I think the name was? Or it ran a close second, can't quite remember.
