I too only commented on what Puller had said in his post race interview, or more succinctly what he didn't say.
Anyway, good luck to them, hope they tickled the bookmakers up good and proper.
I have always liked the puller stable but I think perhaps he was a little misleading in his interview.
I guess he has every right to be cagey.......or does he? (That old chestnut
)

I have to agree TH.
S he said the horse would need the run, the fact remains he did not sound bullish after Race 1 on Risky but did a little on Bright, the money then seemingly came big time on Risky, why? Cos it needed the run? Lets not put 2 and 2 together and make 5, that horse never looked like it needed a run and the money was down. All he had to say was if he brings his A game to the course he must have a chance. Instead, he sounded negative if anything. And what really irks me, is they could have backed it 2 hours earlier... maybe they did and they shortened it because of doubles with the one that won the first. Who knows. Whatever way you look at it though, it wasn't exactly good for the punter and to me and obviously a few others, it certainly sounded like not 100% of the truth was told after R1.. And if he got touched off by a decent horse I would have said fair enough, no-one asks them to say it will win, just to say if he brings the A game he has a very good chance. What's the problem with it?

maybe you are right, because the price on betfair was unter the tote price, which is always a strong sign, that someone knows something. i always wonder, especially because south africans cannot bet on betfair...

The bookmakers only have money the rest of us give them Tommy,

No, imo he didn't. Even though I backed PC I'm not that p1ssed with it, happening all the time lately and it has been obvious the public are being kept in the dark with certain horses while trainers, owners celebrate winning our losses, won't change. Just stating the way I heard it and interpreted it. The end

englander, tommy
i think the interview was ok. a trainer has to be carefully. and i think he did not lie with bright shining.
what is not ok is the huge money on their winner. because if the trainer was not too sure, who put the money? the owner, when the trainer is not too confident? the jockeys? so englander, your are right, if we put together interview AND the shortened price, some questions raise
