race 4 - stryker will try to steal it from the front on mercedes from a good draw....when he looks over his shoulder at the 300m mark he will see lerena coming up strong on the it girl....just those 2 for me
race 5-water bird by silvano justified favoritism by winning easy first time out...plenty more to come...only danger for me is delighted...very good last run.
race 6- love vivien unlucky last time not to have made it 2 in a row....will come on from that effort strongly......nicety to give lots of cheek.....also grootfontein can win again!
race 7- red revenge is the obvious choice but may find bare back/celtic king/passion pleaser/croke park challenging for top honors...i will also include the botes coupling for P6 and JP purposes
race 8-Rivulet on exposed form should be hard to peg back over this distance ....obvious threats could come from flight zone and slinky the cat....for p6 and Jp add the fav and tomorrow's miss and princess lily
race 9- tricky lucky last with many chances....i make it a race to the line between all of jolly wood/goose valley/miss k/danielle/perfect winter/pigeon power/olympic spring and kailani

No chance now that Jules has bankered it in her P6

An interesting card today with several runners fancied that are trying the surface today. The earlier races look easier than the later one's so have started short in my PA loading up at the end, hoping to still be running. My PA for today comes to R240.

The horse I am going to have a stab at is in Race 6 being Mona Lisa, Kom Naidoo has a good record of bring horses to the Sand and if acting of the surface could be hard to beat. It is a competitive field but will take my chances. Maybe take doubles with Lord Hawke as 2Cents has given us the confidence on this one. You should get around 23/1 on the double.
