I am not wearing an Ocean Basket cap, I will make a plan and get one with ABC.

LOL...can organise you a Prop Skillz one if you want....

My take on this issue is that as long as a jockey does not wear anything that conflicts with the presentation of the owner's colors, it is all right for him to have a sponsor.

I realize that I am in the minority in this opinion.

Don't forget, an owner can get his/her own sponsor.

So I say let the rider and owner get their own sponsors.

Sponsorship is advertising. If a sponsor feels they are getting good value by sponsoring a jockey, I don't think an owner should stand in the way.

wrt above comment,so many times we see jockeys not sporting the winning colours at presentations,instead they are clad in colours of next ride.
Most common excuse rendered was not enough time to change.

Winning Form had the best sponsorship with LLoyd - guys loved to count up his winners - some of the balance seem bland so perhaps a genuine ad agency should be approached before sponsorhip is dished out to make the most of the limited air time
