Animals do look out for each other
11 years 11 months ago
I was upstairs in a room that I hardly go into and just happened to look outside.
What I saw was pretty incredible. There were around 10 motherless lamb grazing away but two of them were not.
There were 4 crows hanging around as well. A normal occurence when death is close. Of the two lamb one was just laying on the ground and the other was standing on top of it . I went to see what was going on. The lamb on the ground had snapped its leg and the other one was protecting his little friend from these crows who were waiting for a free feed.
The lamb with the broken leg has now a splinter on its leg and should be up and about in a week or so.
Animals do care and do watch out for each other.
