SA Rugby Is Just Plain Boring

Anyone else just simply had enough?

Did you not watch the Lions game,fell aslepp 3 times..

You're joking! Was as absorbing as the first test, even if it was more of a forward battle.

I agree Hibs what a load of crap...the standard of play was very poor...the AB's would smash these teams...I have followed the Lions for 20 years and this is probably the worst team I have seen.

Ok, but as far as intensity and commitment go, you don't get better than those two tests. In fact the universal comment I've heard after both matches was "great game."

Imo nothing wrong with the state of our rugby, and I think those who say it is boring, are probably the same people that think test cricket is boring.

If I want to watch some real boring stuff, I just watch those overpaid international football stars tripping each other and then lying on the deck, gripping at their injured parts - just to get up 2 mins later and run around like nothing happened <

its not boring its plan cheating by these over paid footballers and the media are partly to blame because they should get on the offending players case day in and day out. I too am getting sick of the cheating because thats all what they are doing

Oh now I get it. The British and Irish Lions. Phew, I thought we were talking about the Lions of Ellis Park.

When I played 20+ years ago , the teams were made up of reasonably fit fat guys and very fit fast guys made fir more attacking game

frodo, I have watched the Sharks for 35 years, they are playing BORING rugby at present. What would happen to our rugby if you collapse the rolling maul ? The Backline play in SA rugby is as poor as I can remember,the continuos up and unders may suit you but I find it frustrating. Maybe its time too limit teams to 3 changes but the stadiums are getting emptier by the match and that is due to the Entertainment Value.
