Emoticons aside a review worth 5 stars.
Is the July any different to you or just another racecard to analyze and do you have a fancy

Funnily enuff BH someone else asked me this only yesterday, 99% makes no difference to me whether its the Durban July or a workriders maiden at Kimberley, its simply a race to have a bet on. Far easier though imho to find the winner of the maiden at Kimberley. I couldn't tell you whose running and to be brutally honest, I don't care whose running, it makes no difference. I'll look at the form the night before probably and let you all know the winner lol. That said, the better the standard of race the more enjoyable racing is generally speaking, too much poor stuff does become very tedious, I like a challenge.
Thanks for the heads up Harris re Brown, too tired to look at what the changes are now but will see tomorrow if it affects anything I wrote.

In Greece we have betting on SA races every Monday and during the week a number of scattered ones.
I 'm a supporter and I 'd like to see more of our foreign races coming from the SA and UK and fewer from France who enjoy 80% of the cards (that's my opinion anyway).
Today we have the R1-R2-R3-R5-R6-R7 from Flamingo.
My press synthesis shows:
R1: 1-2-3-5
R2: 1-3-5-4
R3: 1-7-2-3
R5: 3-1-2-6
R6: 2-7-9-4
R7: 2-5-8-1
R7 seems the hardest one to call among those.
I will also take Englander's writeup with me to the shop.
I 'd like to propose a new form of discussion:
Start with the press synthesis, then proceed to any new ideas.
That looks to me like making sense in terms of strategy.
Or start with some other universally accepted verdict, then proceed likewise.
My press synthesis is based on the best of SA sources that are available on the web (UK likewise, France likewise).
If you like to see the Greek derby of 2013 (Sunday 23/6), it's here:

One nice bet EW for today for me. I put it in my notebook after her last start as she was running on strongly. GATUSSO finished well over the 1000 meters and the 1200 could well be what she is looking for. She lost to She Got Gears by a short head last time out and with the appy allowance is 8kg's better off with the ruling favorite. I managed to get some 12/1 this morning and feel this is an excellent price and hope she comes home powerfully to take victory today. (tu)

A quick question if someone can help me. I am looking to back Gatusso again and the one betting site I occasionally use has not scrached Double Click yet which was withdrawn at 7:48. For a deduction you must have backed the horse prior to the horse being scratched, even through Double Click is still in their betting would it apply being nearly 2 1/2 hours after the scratching was done. Does every bookie use their timeline when they remove a scratch horse or does it apply when the horse is officially withdrawn?

I reckon if you back the horse BEFORE the bookie actually adjusts his odds taking into account the withdrawal... you will have a deduction.
