Thanks Madji, I would have though the same was just amazed to see the horse still in the field so long after the scratching.

Agree with you on this but also not discounting trainers other 2 runners (Mariba 1/1 for him but not sure about Pretorius) as he does have a very good first 3 places record.
Don't like these mob-handed trainer meets so will probably just look at Spies & Shams now they up and running again.
Happy punting

Nice write up Englander... I cut and pasted onto word so could read with relaxed eyes. The qestion to ask is 'Which Spies turns up today' ???? Can be potent or extremely mediocre. Is very competitive racing these days at Kimberley.

Magi... take the Visser horses out of the races and the form and the entire picture becomes a lot simpler imho. It is almost impossible (for me anyway) to read that stable and their fluctuation in form messes with everything. Not the only stable of course but for me, with the amount of runners they have, they are one of the main reasons that we change the name Flamingo to Bingo... seriously, I reckon if you take their horses out you will get a lot closer to the tricasts simply going on form, it is these stables that fluctuate etc that make punting there so difficult... there are one or two similar stables in PE for example. But... tis what tis and we don't have to have a punt if we don't want
lol
