saftote Pools

Win Pool 80K or so and place pool 270k .

Curlin paid 2 cents to 1 rand.
Do they have to pay places on international races. oNLY 6 HORSES ran.

Seems very bad investment to know you will lose 80 cents before the horse runs.

From the racing post website:

"CURLIN demonstrated just why he is the highest-rated dirt horse in the world with an easy reappearance win in a dirt handicap over the same trip as the Dubai World Cup, his main target in just over four weeks.

Remarkably, considering he was hard held most of the way up the straight, the four-year-old son of Smart Strike posted a time only just over a second outside Dubai Millennium's track record.

A huge crowd gathered around the parade ring before the race, including Messrs Dettori, Murtagh, Kinane, Shea and most of their weighing room colleagues not involved in the race.

There was never a moment of doubt regarding the outcome in the race as Robby Albarado was able to take the luxury of pulling last year's Breeders' Cup Classic winner wide to avoid any kickback or possibility of trouble."

He is now 5-10 to win the World Cup, I can't see anything beating him, especially seeing he should improve for the run.
