UK TUESDAY

4.00 Ponte. looks a decent little listed fillies with on paper Gifted Girl & Ladys First seeming to have it between them. However the best recent stats for trainers in this race belong to STOUTE with 6 runners / 4 winners & 1 placed. ULTRASONIC is Stoute and Moores only runner.

Will look at possibly combining this with LINKS DRIVE LADY in the 4.30
. The first runner for IVORY here for about 3 years (has only ever had 5 - but no winners ) but this one won nicely last time with Fallon up.

They certainly both have a chance but I'm going wit Lady's First purely on that last effort behind Duntle and she has been consistenty running well in better company.

Wolves
Thorpe has run just over 3 lengths behind Libertarian so should be good enough to win the 3rd while i'm also including Top set in race 4 and Akeed Dubawi in race 5, from the same formline both look like they looking for this distance.

Okay thanks for that.... when the locals mark up I shall put my house, 1982 Datsun, Childrens inheritance (about R8.50) and this months electricity money (about R1800) on the double...no pressure....

Ponte R5- Don't say they will win, but I'm looking for value in this race and 2 horses I feel needs to be included in the exotics are Forgive, Hannons only runner who has a good turn of pace and beaten by a smart sort last time out and will like the fast ground. Sweetnessandlight, c/d winner here takes a drop in class following her run in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot, Fallon gave her an odd ride and with Lee up today will have a place chance. Also note that Lady's First failed here before weakening with the steep run in. ;)

Agree with you about Sweetnessandlight as place material (could even win I suppose ) as this was my outsider selection in race - aided by Lee being 1/1 for Ward.

Interesting comment re Fallon as Ward runs another in R2 (Eastward Ho ) which I thought might have a squeak. Fallon1/3 for Ward.

Good Luck

Wolves R3. Have to agree with Greg re; Thorpe. Looking for place value I'm leaning towards the 5 year old Tornado Force. He loves this course/distance winning and placing here. The other is Sweet Martoni. She should see out this distance and with a fair last run with Barzalona retaining the ride I feel she can improve.

R4. Again agree with Greg with Top Set. The extra furlong should suite and the 5lb claimer can only help. Nickles & Dimes and Inaad to complete top 3

R5. De Sousa's booking on the Haggas horse is a positive while the other top trainers and jocks should make the frame here. Akeed Dubawi, Entrenched & Spirit rider
