Bringing the NHRA into disrepute interesting topic ,does that mean if a individual make factual statement he is bringing them into disrepute?does it mean if individuals dont say what the NHRA like ,or differ from them? we got freedom of speech maybe there will be more interest in after race interviews if jocks that ran second and third bumped by the winner come and tell the public the truth .Maybe if a guy like Lotz if he base his statements on facts not assumptions are alowed to make such statements mabe then transparency will come to the fore.
I personally think after race interviews are boring because 99% of them are repitition ,make it more interesting become controversial let the NHRA look at all the symptons so that they can get to the root cause.
Those trainers and owners that think they are doing the sport a favour by keeping info for themself I pitty, yes give the owner the price but get it out there anyway in any given race I gaurentee that at least 5-6 trainers rate their horses with a chance to win.I punt but dont see why not share what you know I post what I know about my horses with no fear of prices being stolen etc with no punters there is no racing we need them and that is inclusive of the tote punter that punt out of the newspaper

Nothing wrong with facts but when people say things with out proof and it damages a person/people/industry then that is not on. There is dirt in Racing or we would not have people banned or warned off but it is reasonable to expect some proof before a conviction. I doubt anyone here would like to be called a cheat without proof? Being reasonable is all that is required. Bring the proof and root out the evil if it exists

If the rules of the NHRA, in this case rule 73 - 75, get followed to the letter the playing field would be more level to all involved - owners, punters and jockeys.
The fact that Leon Lotz made a statement on TV pertaining medicine men just shows how serious the situation has become.
Owners and punters who are following stables who refrain from using medication/doping are at a severe disadvantage. In the end this will result in them leaving the game. This is not good for racing.
