Glen Hatt to win the first two races, 4/1 the double.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

In the second, going with Hatt because of the weight of money

A couple of uninspiring cards for the weekend, not so unusual. Cape and Turf meetings these past weeks have been, for the most part, "pish" as Mac might say ;) In truth, I had little enthusiasm when studying following yesterday's "misfortunes" so would not be surprised if drawing a complete blank, am usually poor at CT anyway, just find them dodgem cars unfathomable! lol

Main e/w patent...
T R1 2 Crown Bearer
K R2 3 Arion
K R8 1 Midnight Master

And a couple of hopeful yankees
K R5 8 Count My Luck
K R7 6 Noble Star
T R6 10 Due And Payable
T R8 7 Mystic Tigress

K R6 2 General Jubilation
T R4 4 Chapel Of Love
T R5 9 Chill Factor
T R9 7 Ohiki Bay

I doubt any will find today's racing particularly enjoyable but let's hope at least some find it profitable!

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Race1: Abyssinia the obvious one, but no value at odds on.There are a few well bred first timers which could be anything. The older fillies look moderate. Lake Sally is quick and her first run was a bit disappointing. She has an outside place chance if the low draws are favourable as expected.
Race 2: Silver Image looks good value to beat Captain America and Nightside, but all of Arion, Gigabyte and earthwindandfire could win. Nice quartet race.
Race 3: Joey Ramsden has a strong hand. Omaticaya will improve after a fair debut, and so will Careless Love, but with the draws I prefer the chances of Omaticaya.
Race 4: Fly by night a banker
Race 5- 7 Very competitive handicaps. I have King of the deep in Race 5 and he has a lively each way chance.
Race 8. A tricky maiden. Pick 6 helped by the big couplings of Crawford an Kannemeyer. Satchmo has disappointed us since his promising debut run, and is probably on the wrong side of the track. Outside place chance.
