Finally we have decided to add ourselves on Facebook and provide a small insight into what we are doing here at the research centre. At the moment we are researching and codifying the full history of the JHB Summer Cup which was first run in 1887 at Turffontein.

If you go to Wikipedia most of the top jocks around the world have a page. Michael Roberts is there but its incomplete with just about three lines and the information is wrong. One of our most popular ambassadors for horseracing deserves better. If David Thistleton is reading this or any other racing journalist can they please edit the page and make Michael Roberts proud.
