Good for you SR! If that was me at the traffic light, I hope someone like you comes to my rescue. And once your wife stops swearing at you for taking such a risk for a stranger, I bet she will be just struck with admiration for her hero-hubby. Promise you, she will!
Don't be offended by the lady driving off. She was probably in a total panic and all she could think of was to get away, fast. I bet later she kicked herself she didn't stay long enough to thank you and make sure you weren't hurt. But in an emergency, most of us just run. Most of us aren't heroes.

Super Red, you did the right thing. One of the many reasons there is so much crime in our country is because too many of us look the other way when the s.it hits the fan. A few more 'interventions' like yours and the undesirables will soon learn to stay away...

Red. You a hero. You have my support.
Unfortunately the rubber band plonkers that run this country don't value the value you add. Don't expect it. They are the enemy. Soft drifters. Fat gutted manipulators.
Also the women that rode off is unacceptable. She should have valued your risk. Witness value at least.
God bless. Avanza

Super Red, I salute you for being brave/stupid?
It reminds me of about a month ago
Driving towards Wynberg opposite the rear entrance to Kenilworth R/course I saw a teenager struggling with this gangster in his early 20s
I stopped and found he was being robbed of his skateboard and phone
My son who is 23 and built like a wrestler gave the laaitie's stuff back and sorted him [the gangster] out real good
My son body-slammed him, kicked him in the head and when he got up,he staggered, dizzy,he did not know what hit him
My son moered him some more till i stopped him
I don't condone violence, but this oke will think twice before robbing again,of that i'm sure...
and i enjoyed seeing him stagger away with his tail between his legs
We do not always know what we'll do in the wrong place at the right time(tu)
Again' Salute(tu)
