Is this rule still enforced? What were some recent suspensions that have occurred, if any.

Outdated since the inception of local casinos. The bigger the upset, the better chance of carryover boosts.

thor in the 70's and 80's this rule was very much en forced. the trainer is call into the board room to please explain why the horse have the form reversal. if the trainer give the excuse like the blinkers is added, then that horse is no allow to run with out this again. plenty trainers get call in those days. these days i dont think the stipes have the idea. what they do? i dont see much

The problem is that the stipes are yellow these days and believe all the excuses and bad luck stories

it seems the excuse of lameness is brandished around far too often to justify inexplicable runs.

Most of the stripes were jockey 's they used to ride with most of the older jockeys, can you imagine stripe van as ,calling a jockey in and telling him,I think you never gave your horse a winning chance, when the stripe was know as hou Vas van as, no jockey will take him seriously ,we the punter will always be on the losing side.sorry about the Afrikaans.

That would be STRETCHING any imagination Mac! Must say that in my stint there I did see and hear some crazy stuff that's best left alone. Anyway I became a better judge when I was introduced to Smirnoff!

Inthe old days you had people that knew something about racing and the trainers couldn't talk nonsense to them ,now we have stipes that have no clue about policing racing. Why not get the old brigade back even some ex jockeys and let them police the game Benny Little springs to mind
