Well for one I dont know how the horses will improve form the previous runs and I am not very fond of sprints. What I usualy look for when studying racecards I try and find the distance best suited to the horse e.g. a horse runs a 1200m race ....next time out it runs a 1600m race, if it would be that he runs a 1400m next time out I will place my stake only then. Its something that I have picked from other "tipsters" Go look at Race 3 Glenshee, this would be a typical example, would not be surprized if this one shits in today.

I am not a tipster, just fond of thoroughbreds.

However I cannot play them on the nose
btw 1000 is on most occasions where you need to apply that principle in earnest
