I think it differs from a 6th of the price to a10th when there is 4 places as opposed to 3 and also when there is an odds on fav in the race and when there is 2 places paid as is the case in the 2nd today

With 16 runners 1/4 handicaps only,1/5 the odds 1-3 places for non handicaps + ben, 2 places for 2-7 runners 1/4 odds, 3 for 8 - 12 1/5 odds
