GB. just saying, but I think the whole point of reading them out is for those that don't have access to the internet world we live in and/or for those who don't have particularly good eyesight.

I would guess the theory is that the quicker he can rattle through the more info they can give and therefore he is perfect for the job. Personally though, I think the listeners would obtain far more info if he slowed down somewhat, there has has to be a happy medium where he speaks quick enough but also clearly and accurately.

unlike you who hides here behind a name many of us do actually know Cecil and what you have said is based on what? Do you know the man ? Do you have any idea what help he needs? You are the one with issues making slanderous statements about someone you have never met. Disgusting comment and you have gone to far. Cecil might not be everyone's cup of tea but believe me he has more passion for racing and the promotion of it than many people on this site. I have seen Cecil take time out to speak to the common punter in an of course tote on numerous occasions and a friendlier guy you will never meet so I think the only issue Cecil has is you BEN HUR and the professional help he needs is a lawyer to sue you!!!

I agree that any presenter reading out endless info into tote outlets with no volume is insane and the punters at home have all and more info at their finger tips, the extra silly situation we find ourselves in with fixed odds has just increased the frustration.
However let's stop the personal attacks, it's probably the job description that needs reviewed, what is benificial to the punter and what is an overkill of info.
