ok im sorry tienie you have thousands of champions at kimberley re. the annual awards is full of kimberly nominations. it is the open and fair economy where only the best compete and kimberly trainer dont get unfair advantage over the visitors. end of story you win.

PE is thriving these days, big fields, polytrack been layed.... looks like the place to race.

greg in my day with four tracks you have the weekend better horse and the midweek weaker horse. if you horse no win maiden when he turn 5 i think he must go to bloem. if your horse no run a place in i think last 8 race he no qualify for weekend race. so to answer question no i think to many poor horse is continue race because the program cater for mr 62 and other rubbish. to the operator he dont care about quality he care about numbers

Soflash what do u propose we do with the 350plus horses we have here

to me is simple. those that can compete in pe/vaal sand/kzn they go. the rest that can either they get rehomed for polo or jumping or other equine sports. the rest is the kindest to euthanise. if harry openheimer can do this i am sure the mr 52 can go same route

Flash if you have bought a horse and its not good ,what must an owner do with it if he wants and is prepared to continue to try recover his outlay....

Len this question is same as old day. Then in joburg you can try PE or bloem. kimberley was really no even the option when bloem is still go. Now today we see kimberly on tv and bloem is gone. Pe is full because of the chuck out from durban cape town and joburg. many horse they dont like sand what happen to them lets ask rockspider the soup meat from joburg who hate sand in kimberly? ok so some horse do good but really i say false economy may be i should say the king of the soup meat is better? is very very seldom you get a horse win on vaal sand or turf in joburg and if he does then the horse never go back to kimberly is like the one who win the big juvenile race i forget hes name is now with kom naidoo. is not personal guys i think when a racehorse is that bad he rather retire no race among the rubbish, the owner is better off to most of time
