nicely handicapped and ILHA DE VITORIA II fairytale planned from last season and MDK do not make mistakes when planning and setting his sight on a spesific race even if its a year in advance....

Imo (and I have been wrong once or twice before -) Ilha Bela not in the same class as her dam and will struggle against the males

Royal Bencher dead heated with Pomodoro (and most think he should have been awarded the race in the boardroom) at level weights in the SA derby........I don't know what problems have kept him off the track but if fit and well he should be a force in this field as he will carry a lot less than Pomodoro would right now! (presently a 113)
I wish I knew more about his situation cos too many unknowns to take an "Ante-Post" risk

that she has proven time and again - good against her own but not so against males

she never been so "fairly" treated at the weights by handicapper against the boys......at the weights currently she will ask lots of questions coming down the outside moving them down in final 400m.....

You could be on to something - will watch him closely tomorow night - going should come up soft and he has won twice on soft ground before -interesting Pinnacle Plate where Ilha Bela comes in best - and if she does not win this, imo she can forget about the Summer Cup - on the other hand a win may result in a penalty (or not :S)

dont think they want to win tommorrow because of the penalty....summer cup is the target although rated best for tomorrow...pa banker and sell the house on places

I am with Ziets here. Her dam improved with age, and I reckon Ilha Belle going the same way. Worth a fixed place nibble at 4's.

If she wins tomorrow she shouldn't incur a penalty unless winning by a street. 4/1 a place in the Summer Cup is probably not a bad price as off a 104 should carry a handy weight. Lets see tomorrow how she does against the boys.

Word of warning for tomorrow's race is she started 17/20 for the exact race last year and ran 5th out of 7 runners.

I wonder what is planned for ILSANPIETRO, been rested for 9 months now...

On the other hand they might want to increase her MR, as a 104 could struggle to get in (depending on the 'panel' of course).
