I'm interested to see if Zackey can bring back Smanjemanje in time. He loves Turffontein and if right he could run into the money
Royal bencher is very interesting

SANSUI SUMMER CUP SHORTLISTED AS THE BEST LIVE EXPERIENCE
IN THE DISCOVERY SPORT INDUSTRY AWARDS 2014
Johannesburg, 30 October 2013 – One of the country’s premier horse racing events, the SANSUI Summer Cup, proudly hosted by Gauteng, has been voted as one of the top six live sporting experiences in South Africa and included on the Official Shortlist for the Discovery Sport Industry Awards 2014.
“We’re delighted that the SANSUI Summer Cup has been shortlisted in these prestigious awards and we’re especially pleased to represent the exciting sport of thoroughbred horseracing,” says Phumelela Gaming’s National Marketing Manager, Michael Varney. “The SANSUI Summer Cup is all about giving race goers a thrilling, unforgettable experience and we’re especially pleased that this exhilarating event is shortlisted in the Best Live Experience category.”
The Discovery Sport Industry Awards reward the greatest achievements across the entire business of sport, including the most outstanding and innovative work in marketing, PR, advertising, community investment and sponsorship.
The Awards’ Official Shortlist for 2014 includes campaigns and brands from a wide range of sports – including rugby, football, cricket, mixed martial arts, cycling, athletics, golf, basketball, boxing, horse racing – and some of the world’s most renowned brands.
The shortlisted nominees represent the very best the South African sport industry has to offer and are the result of two days of intensive judging by key industry figures who gathered to produce a list of nominees under the watch of auditing firm Deloitte.
The SANSUI Summer Cup is the only high-profile horseracing event to have made the shortlist across all categories.
Bob Skinstad, Chairman of the Official Judging Panel reports a record number of entries and higher quality work than ever before. “Reaching the shortlist for the Discovery Sport Industry Awards 2014 represents a stellar achievement. The standard of work produced by the South African sport industry continues to improve year on year. To make the Official Shortlist for the Discovery Sport Industry Awards is a huge achievement. To be shortlisted, a brand or agency must be producing genuinely innovative and industry-leading work.”
Skinstad congratulated the SANSUI Summer Cup and all shortlisted.
This year, the SANSUI Summer Cup will be run on Saturday, 30 November 2013. “It’s set to take the live experience to the next exhilarating level. It is going to be bigger, brighter and more glamorous than ever before,” says Varney. “Get ready for a spectacular combination of the who's who in thoroughbred horse racing, fashion, celebrity and society.”
“The Discovery Sport Industry Awards make an important contribution to our industry by recognising and showcasing excellence,” continued Varney. “They also encourage innovation, professionalism and originality in South Africa’s sport industry. Everyone associated with the SANSUI Summer Cup is thrilled with our nomination.”
