Any of you know what this is? Explain it if you do.
E(x) = Odds x P(W) - P(L)
E(x) = Odds x P(W) - P(L)

It's a tongue in cheek term I've come up with. In days gone bye in high school in South Africa, the highest grade one could take a subject was on higher grade, then there was standard grade and lower grade. At the very bottom of maths I think there was even a functional grade too. So a higher grade punter to me is not a recreational punter. Someone who is interested in gambling theory and knows the difference between an overlay and an underlay qualifies

My guess is that this is a formula. One to gauge a cycle of a particular odds success
The basis of which must be had through a study of prevalent odds over a determined period ?

Bayern's theory? Odds multiplied by the probability of winning less the probability of losing? But not sure what the intended answer is?
