What do you think of this? Goodwood and Kenilworth tie up

Goodwood Racecourse and L'Ormarins, sponsor of the Queen's Plate, have announced a race sponsorship association, which will link Glorious Goodwood with one of South Africa's most high profile raceday.
The Glorious Goodwood Peninsula Stakes, Grade Two, will be run at the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate in January next year with a hospitality marquee being offered to Goodwood annual members and commercial partners that decide to travel over for the high profile raceday in South Africa.
The Group Three L'Ormarins Queen's Plate Oak Tree Stakes will be run at the 2014 Glorious Goodwood Festival, which will include a charity cricket match after racing between a Lord March XI and Johann Rupert XI in front of Goodwood House after racing.
Adam Waterworth, Managing Director of Goodwood Racecourse, said: "The L'Ormarins Queen's Plate is one of South Africa's most high profile racedays of the year so we thought an association between us and L'Ormarins Queen's Plate would be a nice fit for both brands. The cricket match also gives us further opportunity to provide racegoers with real entertainment after the racing has finished especially as England will be playing India in Southampton that week."
Gaynor and Johann Rupert, who sponsors the Queen's Plate through their winery, L'Ormarins, commented: "Glorious Goodwood is one England's most famous sporting and social events of the year so we think the association is a great opportunity for L'Ormarins and the Queen's Plate."

Press Release
17 December 2013
UK’S GLORIOUS GOODWOOD COMES TO THE L’ORMARINS QUEEN’S PLATE
The eyes of the international horse-racing fraternity will be on Cape Town in January 2014, when England’s revered Glorious Goodwood holds a high-profile race during the 11th running of South Africa’s most prestigious equestrian event, the L’Ormarins Queen's Plate.
The Glorious Goodwood Peninsula Stakes will be the second internationally-recognised race on the card along with the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate, the only horserace in South Africa which grants its winner automatic entry to the Breeders’ Cup, the world’s biggest race-day held annually in the USA.
“The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate and Glorious Goodwood are the most prestigious and exciting racing events on their respective continents, so this association is well suited to provide the absolute highest standard of race day entertainment,” says Adam Waterworth, Managing Director of Goodwood Racecourse.
2014 will also be the first year in which the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate race-day card will hold 12 races as opposed to 10, complimented by glamour, fashion, entertainment, competitions and hospitality.
South Africa’s foremost horse-racing calendar event, with a purse of R1 million, the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate will hold its 11th running on January 11 2014 at Kenilworth Racecourse, Cape Town.
The highly coveted tickets for the LQP are on sale via Computicket.
