Of entering a horse to run in a maiden plate? from jockey fees to noms etc.

Thor, trainers only pay nom fees in feature races in Kzn. In Phumelela country they pay in all races. Jockey fees are paid by the operator.

pay for average bred average looking horse at kzn sale 40000 ( extremely hope full )
pay for training fees for average of 15 months ( very hope full ) @ r5000 all in ( extremely hope full ) 75000
pay for privilege to race 3000
pay for colours 600
other little things and very importand NO VET PROBLEMS and you stand in for 120000 ish very very conservative.
every thing is fantastic in kzn no problems according to craig and you race for 41250 ( 1st place maiden plate ) LESS very conservative 17% 10% jockey 7% trainer if you lucky now you win 34 237.50.
now change numbers to 80000 for horse and 18 months at 7000 at "better" yard and suddenly you in for 210000 and lets throw gelding in for 5000 and suddenly you see these game is for mugs no? but no worry the bull shit about if you no buy you no have chance of own the next variety club blah blah blah

mr h now they get 10% they can expect nothing more they get to much all ready. 10% should be trainer no jockey if you look at what the involve ment of both in get win

Where does the operator get the money to pay jocks from, if noms are free in kzn?
