What happens to scratchings in boxed exacta's or triflecta's?

I've decided to make my punting more fun and I'm deciding to have a go at these kinds of exotic bets. Just wondering what happens if I have four horses boxed and one of my selections gets scratched at the gate? I know you guys can help me before the tote helpdesk can.

That portion of the bet gets refunded. Eg: 4 horses boxed exacta costs R12.00 . One gets scratched then 3 horses costs 6. . .and u get R6 refunded
