Big money on Quilicious in the first.
Took it with Formation, should be hard to beat.

I make Mr Alfonso with the blinkers back on a standout bet the 22/10 looks great value. I will also take doubles with Ajuba which will come to 9/2.

Will be interesting to see how things pan out between Stryker and Lerena, looks like they will bump heads in more than couple of these races. Maybe Lerena R2 and 8, Stryker 5 and 6.

R2: I see most are on Formation, so I'll buck the trend and row in with Magic Smoke - in truth I find them very hard to split and imo the betting should have been 2/1 the pair - so imo the value is with Magic Smoke - purely on ratings Negev comes into it as well, but for me she has not run close to 94 on the sand, so she's not for me today.

R3: Inconsistent bunch of fillies and mares have been beating each other; both Silent Force and Sin Latigo unexposed over the 1600 - nothing stands out imo

R4: Inconsistent bunch of geldings also have been beating each other - Ajuba suspect over the 1800, but we are really scraping the barrel here - again nothing stands out imo

R5: Not a lot between Mexican Glory, Beautiful Dawn (no value), Olympic Spring and Olympic Goal imo - so at the odds I think OG is place value; Dare to be Grand slighlty up in class from her last run (where I have her running to a 41) and could be held imo

R6: Compettive sprint where Cape Winter looks the right one; however for me I'm willing to give Vulcan another chance - showed very good pace over the 1200 last time and not bad value at 13/2 imo; lots of others also looking to be involved in the finish, including Nics Stride, Benbow, Hang Fire and Stavinsky - also Dennis the Menace could feature if back to best

R7: Agree on Mr Alfonso has to be the first choice - the jock is a slight problem for me, so I am looking at the filly Howhighcanufly to give Mr A a run for the money

R8: Open race to close; Flaming Forge will need some luck again from that draw and has amuch tougher task ath the weights today imo; on a line through Velddrifter, King Scott. Magic of Rome and Oklahoma Trippi comes into the race; of those I think OT (3rd run after rest - stable in form) is the value at 12/1

Enjoy (tu)
