A colleague of mine is writing an article on sports betting in SA, I'm sure there are quite a few clanners who could contribute and maybe share some of their insights.

Some key focus areas are size of the industry.
Legalities.
Dark side, fixing, organised crime.
Online presence of the local Industry.

but according to the sports websites and magazines that cover sport,Racing is no sport..well they don`t cover it...
