STABLE TALK 22 OCTOBER
11 years 10 months ago
The Justin Snaith stable will be featured on this Tuesday's edition of "Stable Talk", which will be broadcast, as per usual, at 06h45.
Justin is currently at the top of the season's trainer's log, with around 40 winners and you can hear how he is determined to surpass his efforts of last season. Interviews with Jonathan and Chris Snaith are also featured, and I reckon it's one of the most colouful of the nine episodes we have completed to date.
Next up in a fortnight's time is Eric Sands, followed by Yvette Bremner and then, to close the season, Mike De Kock.

Very much doubt if Jimmy had the foresight to question why some of the stable runners performances in Conditions and Plate races just too inconsistent especially in P.E.
A golden opportunity missed for sure, would help guide the punters to be wary of this lot.:

Jimmy, why do they show your nice show at such a terrible timeslot, but show that rubbish that Julie and Grant makes at a watchable time.

The sponsor specifically wanted an early morning slot so that the show would be watched by its target market, the trainers, and more especially those who are not Epol users at the present time. It is repeated during gaps between evening races fro various centres, but this is fairly random, which is a pity.

Weird as i would of thought the ''shows'' target market is more than just trainers but i do understand that the sponsors product is targeted to trainers.

It was recorded during the second week of September, but we obviously had to do a batch of Cape Town trainers during one trip, which meant that we ran the risk of some of the horses we talked about winning or at least running, during the interval between recording and flighting the programmes. Legislate is a case in point; he was touched off by Dynastic Power in a race run on 05 October. Hopefully he will run well in the Elusive Fort Cape Classic, on Saturday, though he's not well drawn. However, he's the choice of stable jockey, Richard Fourie.
