Operators market Horse Racing as a game of skill.....

Yet, when rain has fallen, they choose to keep the track conditions to themselves, leaving us punters in the dark.
Soft Falling Rain's latest run is proof of how ground conditions can affect the outcome of a race.
3 simple press releases should be issued leading up to the race meeting in question, all on the day PRIOR to racing. 1st at 10am, 2nd at 2pm and final at 5pm, thus keeping us updated. Mms received, current pen and the likelihood of racing going ahead is all we're asking for.
SAHORSERACING.CO.ZA doesn't upload rainfall figures and when they do we have no idea of when those readings were taken.

With all the legal implications of online gaming etc, you think they would offer as much info as possible to ensure they can prove its a game of skill..,
Look at poker a game I have an edge over some of my opponents , though it's illegal to play online in most countries because they say it's gambling ..,

I'm sure they don't actually want punters to have the info so that they can still go to the totes and play uk or aus when they find local racing abandoned

Couldn't agree more with 2C's.
It's the same with the false rail,Pirate's bugbear.I refuse to play Durbanville with a false rail of less than 4m as it's a lottery whether one's horse is going to get a run down the inside or not,but rail configs aren't shown until race day.All this means is I'm not prepared to study in advance and then my turnover gets lost to the operators.
Once again, this seems simple common sense, but as discussed 8000 times previously that is in short supply at PGE.

Why is it so difficult for these people to get the simple things right?

Because they have no idea on how to operate a business.....information is key....now we dont even get fixed odds and claims via the TT portal because of some fool's bad business acumen.....:
