Heres to Chad....he just won the Cox plate on a maiden.To top it all dad has won 3 races in Sydney.

brilliant - maybe he should be invited to next year's Jockey International

ps, the winner of the cox plate is a 1time winner..if he gave weight to a 6 time winner like spitfire run he surely couldnt beat him..a 1 time winner giving a 6 time winner weight??? no way.

only got into the race because Atlantic Jewel was retired on Thursday :

Racing public were not to happy ,can you imagine the furore if a Maiden got into the July?

I also read that it's a maiden. The irony is that Chad must now start an 8 meeting suspension for causing interference at - get this! - the 500 m mark - in an earlier race meeting.

Incidentally, it might be a maiden but it does have a second in a Gp 2 and a third in a Gp 1 race ... as Chad said, "The unluckiest maiden around".
