Hi guys. Anybody know what happened to him? Has he retired? I remember so many of his brilliant rides coming from the back of the field.

He was such a humble person, I always think back to when he rode his first few winners and could hardly speak a word of English during the post race interviews, a broad smile and irrespective of the question, the answer was always yes. Really did well for De Kock and Ferraris stables, not always on the stable elects. Hope he is enjoying his retirement where he may be.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Pity about his injury - he would have been an even better Jockey today

Always followed his rides for De Kock stable and he brought home a good few winners for me
