Some clever Trevor manipulating local Hong Kong PLACE pools::o

?.......maybe I should have kept mum and used these observations to my own advantage.......imagine sticking it to some smucky bookie .......open bet se moer .....ATC at tote odds on the goodie in the 2nd R2-40 the drum and was reported to be the best win bet on the card into the ......10 Rander and into some of the others Igot shorted on but arrived.....maybe the manipulators are also just doing this .........to get a real PLACE ACCUMULATOR.......-D

This is a very old scam as I have mentioned before.

Would not be surprised if the same person is still doing it.

Why blame Vee and co if punters themselves are manipulating the system.
Week in and out I see the same punter manipulate the pool by placing 5 x R400 place bets and at the jump cancels it because he has taken places with the bookie. This happens regularly with Singapore and HK racing. Why the tote operator/Phumelela have not detected it really baffles me.

I don't think anyone is blaming Vee, was with him last night and he is busy trying to establish where the manipulation took place

Because Vee is an employee at Phumelela and responsible for betting and tote operations......even Nico and others from TT have gone on and on how much tote value there is on Singapore favourites for places......yet none have thought it could be manipulation......

The question is why do the owners of the tote allow R2000 worth of bets be cancelled on each race. Surely the outlet owner needs to be questioned.

Because you cnt refuse a punter who wants to cancel, anything over
R500 needs to be cancelled by head office

I can take 20 R400 tickets at one outlet and go to another and cancel, the loss
Of commission is at the outlet where the bet was taken, it's a easy scam

i must say that a few years ago i had a ticket that i took in the am at one branch and when i realised later that afternoon that it was incorrect I tried to cancel at another tote and it was a big drama - They had to call head office to get approval and it was not for a major amount maybe R500 - I think this manipulation might me more prevalent at agencies

Owners of betting outlets do not own the tote facilities.....they are bound to the rules of the tote operators. If it is found that there is an unusual amout of cancelled tickets prorata to turnover they will be warned to curb the practice.....if it continues they could loose the facilities.

.....the oke that you see doing this is not a shrewd PUNTER......he is a CON ARTIST.....manipulation in any form and no matter how little affects the operators creditability.....they are loosing betting outlets and turnover because no one wants to play into dodgy pools....:

Simple, stop cancelling bets
