KENILWORTH 13/11/2013

I havnt had a bet since HighArrow on friday night, been chomping on the bit for this kenilworth meeting.

Race 1 House Of Lorraine will win by lengths 12/10

Race 9 Jet Turbine was ridden by "Handbrake Domeyer" last time out and did he have the handbrake on Im confident about the first one but the midget puts me off having a straight win bet off the second one.

i will be having a straight win bet on HOL (early christmas present from bookies) and something on the double @7-1

Good Luck if you following

From whence the confidence for House of Lorraine? Vade Mecum will give her a run for the post. Also like R3 Lady Bizhub for place. Intrigued by Elegantes in R5 looks good place value.

I like the Marshall/Byleveld double, R3 - Desert Swirl & R4 - Anzac.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

So on which horses do you fancy Bernard? Like the look of Bass's Gypsy Madponna in race 7. Expensive, crse and distance, pole position etc.

Surprisingly not done so bad last couple of midweek meetings at Kenilworth but this looks back to the old closely-matched, plenty in with chances but not at big prices style card. Not one that has much appeal for me. Anyway, with the usual complete lack of confidence in CT racing...

R1 I'm A Rock Star
R2 Shogunnar
R3 Desert Swirl
R4 Dragonstone
R5 Only Emily
R6 Robertson
R7 Pan Amm
R8 Lily Lafitte
R9 Jet Turbine

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

I see a few fancy the chances of Jet Turbine in the last. I wouldn't discount the chances of Gypsy Tinker from draw 9. It's holding form well and does appear to be a resolute galloper. In it's last run it was up in the vanguard until very late when caught and passed by the stable companion eventually beaten 1.50 lengths, that was over 2000m. The third horse was a further 3.50 lengths. Today coming back in distance (1800m), it may prove very difficult to peg back. I will row in with the 4 year old and take my chances, 6/1 is good value.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Like Englander said a very closely match card. Here is my likings:
Race 1: Vade vecum to follow I'm a Rock star
Race 2: Shogunnar
Race 3: Private Doowaley with Desert Swirl
Race 4: I am the Law with Dragon Stone
Race 5: Only Emily with Star Jet
Race 6 : Glenton with Red tractor
Race 7: Maximum Jet with Pann Amm and Schism
Race 8 : Lily Lafite with Litethenight and Amberflyer
Race. 9: Jet Turbine with Gypsy thinker
Good luck Clanner. I will play with caution today because in most of the races all the horses are closely matched.
Shogunnar should win again
