Scotia on his bike!

Good morning all and hope the Clan are still backing the winners?

Not sure if it was my trips to Thailand or the bucket list on what I still wanted to do before I move on to the big racetrack in the sky but I had this urge to buy myself a scooter and must say I am loving it.
I have been warned by the family that its not a very good idea at my age, but we "are a short time living and a long time dead"
In the mid sixties I had a Lambretta scooter with about 20 mirrors, I wore a suit and was a MOD, I also had hair!

holding back the years

As far as racing would have to say that there is a real buzz back in the game with the jockey international, Summer Cup, Sales, Polytrack, etc
I would say horseracing should never be regarded as an investment but if you enjoy socialising and want a few highs and lows in life, come and join the racing game via a syndicate.
We have plenty advice on the site for potential first time owners.

The site has again hit new records as far as visitors and I would again say thanks for the contributions and well done to the sponsors for helping us cover the expenses and continue the growth.

Plenty topics for discussion

Magic Feet or not? the saga and comments continue

Neil P (2 Oceans) want to buy us a winner.

Jockey International, full betting options from Sportingbet.

Summer Cup all the hype and runners

Plus plenty more, have a look (you don't have to tell anyone)

Every day we appear to have more and more punting options, with the Bipot coming back, soccer bets with massive payouts, I am still trying to get money on shots to win but I am tempted to try a few exotics.

We were rather disappointed by the lack of feedback from Tellytrack with their request to improve the service, not sure if anyone received a "thanks for your contribution" and what suggestions were used? I personally enjoy Tellytrack but seeing that Ngong and Sweden are still being shown, I gather mine was binned?

The Summer Cup should be a great day and glad to say the Shams will be joining us in the box and hopefully giving us the same quality of information they supply on the PE threads.
As far as betting Wylie Hall 13/2, COTT 15/2, Rock Cocktail 17/2 and 10/1 bar..........big exotics on the day.

On the subjects of the Shams, we are having fun with Miss D and Bud Boy since the move to PE and they might both run on 22nd, might be worth getting on a cheap flight (take your own sandwiches and outside toilets) but still paying for my last flying visit.

Have been enjoying the rugby but a bit nervous about the Scots meeting the mighty Boks, maybe a draw the way to go?
England vs NZ and Wales Argentina will make it another sporting weekend at the pub.

The EPL has certainly taken an open approach and makes it far more interesting this year
3/1 City, 4/1 Gunners and Chelsea, 5/1 United, 13/2 Pool ( the money horse judging by the posts) 35/1 spurs, 150/1 Southampton (Terry Paine has taken a few Bob) 1000/1 The Geordies (Bob has promised me a free weekend at Emperors and the room is in black and white stripes).

We also have the Cape Season to look forward to with some cracking races building up to the Met.

I have to rush and get on my bike, we have an urgent pizza delivery.

Good punting and may your God be with you

scotia.

You look more like a Harley Davidson kind of guy to me. I'm not sure the Hell's Angels will accept you as a member if you ride that...

I thought you were more of a Vespa type of guy - Were you not a "Mod" in the old days?

Miss D and Bud B both run Friday and have calculated the distance and max speed of the bike pulling my Venter trailer, I will be leaving at 10.30 today to make the 3rd race Friday and will leave after the last to get back in time for the Summer Cup.

So see u at the races and good punting!

Ps will not be able to answer calls but will try and keep in touch via the site X(
