5 year old gelding who carries top weight.He has been running in class 3 and ran in the £31000 class 2 London final at Kempton,he was outclassed and
Beaten 8 lengths by Graphic,rated 110.Maverick has dropped a further 3lbs since that last run and more importantly drops down to a class 4 Handicapp.
The jockey couldn't be in better form and has a good strike rate with the trainer.its last run was after a 55 day break and he ran too free,if he settles
He can run a big race.Another punter I know who is astute,also likes Mavericks chances..EW bet
