If his intention is to leave then let him go
If your heart is not in your team then you should not be playing go that team
No one is too good to be held back against their wishes
Maybe it will be a good move for depends - depends where is he going to?

Care to differ mate....
Saurez is too good to be held back, was held back and has produced fireworks since.
I feel managers must stand their ground!!!!these footballers 4gt he type of contracts signed n rely too much on new clubs2 buy of their contracts. RVP is aging, so u deny all f requests and bids from other teams and he will not play any less 4 ur club as his career would then be remembered for his sulking and lack of ability to score.
Imo if he has commited till 2015 for example, and u as the manager need him, u keep him.
Footballers need to learn that once u commit, u commit. Only business ind world where contracts mean fuk all, its scary.
