Race 1 – 12:05 – Ladbrokes Handicap – class 6 – 3yo+(0-55) – 7f

George Benjamin bounced back to form out of the blue last time out over course and distance finishing 2nd behind Silly Billy. He was claimed and makes his debut for Mick Appleby who is garnering a reputation with these kind of horses. He also sends out Lincolnrose (IRE) who is on a winning mark and has placed form at this track. Coastal Passage was well backed and ran with credit to finish 2nd last time at Wolves. He has placed form at the track but his s/r of 1/25 makes him hard to fancy for win purposes. Seamster has won 3 times at the track 2 over course and distance. He arrives struggling for form but has become well treated as a consequence. Mucky Molly is a course and distance winner that is on a winning mark. Munaawib is a course and distance winner that is up 4lb for winning last time out at Wolves. The stable form of Mick Appleby entitles his runners to maximum respect and George Benjamin especially looks sure to go well

Race 2 – 12:35 – Download The Ladbrokes APP Selling Stakes – class 6 – 3yo+ – 1m

Alpha Tauri is a course specialist that returned to his very last time out here over 6f. He is stepped up in trip which is unlikely to suit and he is overlooked. Pravda Street was backed as if defeat was out of the question and duly obliged last time at Wolves. He is more than capable of following up especially if the money arrives. Miami Gator (IRE) is a very well handicapped horsew but he is getting on now and he has it to prove on sand. Staff Sergeant is a course and distance winner that is not badly in at the weights. He is making his debut for Mick Appleby and we think he is the one to beat. We don’t usually get involved in claimers betting wise but our token selection is Pravda Street

Race 3 – 1:10 – Ladbrokes Mobile Handicap – class 6 0 3yo+(0-65) – 1m

Silly Billy (IRE) has yet to run a bad race since joining Brian Ellison. He is more than capable of winning this but he is not one to take a short price about often finding less than looks likely. Run It Twice (IRE) took advantage of a sliding mark last time out at Wolves. He has to prove himself on the sand but if he handles it he is more than capable of backing up his win. Dansili Dutch (IRE) was just denied the 3 timer last time out having bumped into a well handicapped horse. She pulled well clear of the 3rd last time which suggests there is more to come. She looks to have every chance if taking to the surface. Camerooney is a dual course and distance winner that comes into this having won 2 of his last 3 for which he has gone up 4lb. He isn’t getting any younger but he is one to consider. Our e/w selection is Dansili Dutch at 9/

Race 4 – 1:45 – 32Red.com Nursery Handicap – class 6 – 2yo(0-65) – 1m

Stoney Quine (IRE) broke her maiden here over 7f and comes into this having won a claimer, again over 7f. She will do well to to win this back in handicap company as she looks limited and unlikely to improve. Starlight Princess (IRE) broke her maden 3 runs back at Kempton and backed it up with 2 solid placed efforts since. She is progressive and will win this if taking to the track. Bonnie Fairy has shown nothing so far but makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark. She is just the type the yard do well and she is one to watch in the betting as strong support could be significant. Unless she comes in for that support it is hard to see past the claims of Starlight Princess at 9/4

Race 5 – 2:20 – 32Red Maiden Stakes – class 5 – 2yo – 1m

Alfaayaza (IRE) shaped with ability for Brian Smart and makes plenty of appeal on debut for Karl Burke. She is bred to act on the surface and is the one to beat. Lesha (IRE) shaped with immense promise on debut finishing 2nd over course and distance. She was still a little green next time but she makes obvious appeal back over this course and distance. Excel Best was well backed on debut but failed to live up to the billing and was the same next time at Lingfield looking anything but an easy ride. Unless Lesha is strong in the betting thisd looks an ideal opportunity for Alfaayza at 10/

Race 6 – 2:55 – Coral APP Download From The APP Store Maiden Stakes – class 5 – 3-4yo – 1m4f

Crow Down (IRE) didn’t cut much ice in bumpers but shaped with ability on debut for Charlie Hills finishing 2nd at Ffos Las. He was disappointing next time out at Lingfield not looking the most straight forward of rides and he has questions to answer. Dan Emmett (USA) was well backed on debut here over course and distance and shaped with promise after blowing the start to finish 3rd. He is sure to come on for the run and he rates as the one they all have to beat. Newsreader (USA) shaped with promise last year on debut finishing 3rd but has ran no race on both starts for Mark Johnston. He is sure to do better at some stage but he cannot be backed on what he has shown so far. Niot a race we will be getting involved in betting wise, he is sure to be a short enough price but we think the one to beat is Dam Emmett at 10/11

Race 7 – 3:30 – Coral Mobile Just Three Clicks To Bet Handicap – class 5 – 3yo+(0-75) – 1m3f

Gogeo (IRE) is more than capable of winning this but he can only be watched in the betting on return after a lengthy absence. He is well treated if ready to run. Dynastic took advantage of a tumbling mark and landed readers of this site a nice touch when winning last time, here over 12f. He is up 4lb which is more than fair and he is of obvious interest if in the same form. Mediterranean Sea (IRE) is a course specialist winning 5 times here and making the frame in 13/20 starts here. She has nothing in hand of the assessor but her course form warrants the utmost respect and she is more than likely to make the frame. Brockfield won on his only visit to the track and he comes into this on the back of a 2nd last time at Wolves behind Lean On Pete. He isn’t on a bad mark on the pick of his form and he is one to consider. Gogeo has to watch in the betting as strong support will be significant. With the dead 8 runners Mediterranean Sea is the e/w bet to nothing but we think think the one to beat is Dynastic at 5/2
