Guys I'm not attacking Greyville , but does anyone else feel the place has lost its identity being split up the way it has?
You won't see 20 horses spread across the track again in July
Remember pocket power finishing on the wide outside with Dancers Daughter!!!
Or Igugu cutting up the inside

nothing in local racing feels the same anymore........
it shouldn't really come as a surprise as everything is headed in varying directions. none of which is particularly gratifying
again, as people keep telling us on here, if you don't like it get out???
must be people who have not as yet poured their heart and soul into this business.......

Agree with you Tommy..............just to add it is now all about turnover and profit at any cost. The horse comes second nowadays.Sad indeed and who cares about identity anymore.............

Hibs...Tommy...the Duke...
Exactly how I feel....I used to frequent the place on the early 80's...and jockeymenship was more critical in a larger field...no disrespect to the younger jocks....I have enthused before about Tickey Carr stealing the march prior to the rise at Greyville....resting his horse...and then pulling clear....
I no longer feel the same...
